The Director of EDMAR first travelled from Europe to Mali in late 2012 and has been there for the Malians ever since meeting a broad spectrum of individuals. The purpose of this corporation is to create opportunities that help communities grow, improve, and ultimately make people’s lives better.

We first visited Mali in 2012 and ever since felt a strong bond within the community, which was the beginning of our friendship.

We have privately financed helped many individuals and families in the community. From helping with costs of health care, education, housing, cost of driving lessons and contributing to new local business . We are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done.
One of the most touching story is, see the pictures below, we visited a place of worship in the Dogon country in around 2014. It was built from traditional mud. The local members poured all they could into building a new building and over many years they could not carry on. We finished it in December 2025.
